Read this [Colonel Sanders Under Fiery Siege in Pakistan] in today's NY Times. Despite the Onion-esque headline, it's an article about a deadly attack on a KFC in Karachi, Pakistan... and it contains the most bizarre paragraph I have ever read in a major newspaper.

Next to the entrance of the Madina-tul-Ilam Mosque hung a banner, a macabre riposte to KFC's "chicky meal" ad. "We want to warn America: Martyrdom is our heritage," it read. "We will protect Islam until the last drop of blood."

It kinda makes you wonder what the chicky meal ad said.
