Administration officials say the darndest things

So, I was reading about Condi's pick for the deputy spot at the State Department. He's what you would expect... a Bush-loyalist from even before Bush was Bush, but what got me was this quote buried in the story...

"He already knows the building and is widely respected in Washington and on the international stage for his strong intellect," said an administration official familiar with staff plans. He spoke on condition of anonymity because the appointment has not yet been announced. Both Rice and Zoellick are known as "hard chargers and perfectionists," he added.

Perfectionist?! Really?! Condi?! Huh.

No conservative columnist left behind:

Speaking of the "perfection" of the current administration, check out this story in today's Denver Post:

Of course, I should’ve known how natural it would be to turn the Dept. of Education into a propaganda machine. No brick in the wall left behind!
